I Am Yours

I believe
I am yours

in a way
more than breath
and blood.

I am yours
as the leaf belongs
to the sun.

The warmth of you
opens me,

and I sway in the wind,

the song of my trembling
with my brothers
is a hymn.

I am fallen,

and you
are my God;

bring me back
to life.

About Catastrophe Jones

Wretched word-goblin with enough interests that they're not particularly awesome at any of them. Terrible self-esteem and yet prone to hilarious bouts of hubris. Full of the worst flavors of self-awareness. Owns far too many craft supplies. Will sing to you at the slightest provocation.

‘Twas a day for leaves, me thinks. I too was inspired by our green, arrow shaped friends. Great work here, Jones.
