I am made of

I was thinking about
taking the time to
peel the petals
from the sun,

speaking the words,
saying all of the delight
that has ever been
milk and blood

and honey nails.

I am made
of poppy,
full of forgetting

and the darkest of dreams.
I give them to you.
I open myself
and give them all

to you.

Drink in my words,
and fall into the worlds
within worlds,

and finally understand.

About Catastrophe Jones

Wretched word-goblin with enough interests that they're not particularly awesome at any of them. Terrible self-esteem and yet prone to hilarious bouts of hubris. Full of the worst flavors of self-awareness. Owns far too many craft supplies. Will sing to you at the slightest provocation.

GIve me all the worlds. Every one of them, I’ll take them.
