But here’s where I’ll mention what I’m working on, at least:
Novels:
Otherkin (It’ll probably end up with a different title) – Urban fiction
Something New (ditto — I’m apparently horrid with titles) – High fantasy
Disconnected – Post-apocalyptic cyberpunk
Eliza Splashdown and the Clockwork Man – YA steampunk series opener
Eliza Splashdown and the Aerial Assault – YA steampunk #2
Comics:
Ash Girl – with Georgia Artist UnknownBinaries
Essays:
On Friendship and Saying What Needs to be Said… or Not. – Self explanatory, yes?
On Writing (Is it pretentious to call it what Mr. King did? Yikes)
On Depression – Because it’s either this, or slit my wrists.
At some point, I’ll begin posting links to art; I was gifted a Wacom tablet for my birthday this year. It remains, aside from some truly beloved Barbies, the best purchased birthday present I’ve ever gotten.
Let me be clear, folks – this blog has become a last chance effort; I have to find a way to get these words out of my head, or I’m going to go crazy.
So Jones. My book fits into one of the categories that you mention above. How could you possibly have so many projects? How is that even possible?
Too many voices in my head. Too many stories want to get out, that’s all.
Possibly the definition of a writer.
Wait — which category!?
We’ll talk on that. We will.
