100 Words: Advice

Whatever you do:

don’t blink,
don’t flinch,
don’t give in a single inch;
don’t scream,
don’t stress,
don’t shut down or make a mess;
don’t shrivel,
don’t shirk,
don’t claim someone else’s work;
don’t push,
don’t take,
don’t shame another for your mistake;
don’t fight,
don’t bitch,
don’t stop trying to scratch that itch;
don’t wish,
don’t sigh,
don’t pretend that you won’t cry;
don’t panic,
don’t shout,
don’t just sit and wait it out;
don’t be flip,
don’t dismiss,
don’t change your smile for any kiss;
don’t fear,
don’t lie,
don’t just leave without ‘Goodbye.’

Here endeth the lesson.

About Catastrophe Jones

Wretched word-goblin with enough interests that they're not particularly awesome at any of them. Terrible self-esteem and yet prone to hilarious bouts of hubris. Full of the worst flavors of self-awareness. Owns far too many craft supplies. Will sing to you at the slightest provocation.
