Oppressive/PushPull

In all this time,
after all this time,
because of all this time,
all the time,
always,
I am hearing your voice
telling me hush,
telling me shh,
telling me no,
telling me be quiet,
telling me don’t talk,
telling me don’t speak up,
telling me don’t say a word,
and if I
and if we
and if you
and if they
and if everyone
just managed
to keep their heads down
what would we learn
if we never saw the sky?

About Catastrophe Jones

Wretched word-goblin with enough interests that they're not particularly awesome at any of them. Terrible self-esteem and yet prone to hilarious bouts of hubris. Full of the worst flavors of self-awareness. Owns far too many craft supplies. Will sing to you at the slightest provocation.
