Never learning

I don’t want
to face the fact
that I am too old to dream
and too young to die
so I will angrily crush
the love of everyone around me
and run from
anything resembling opportunity.

That is the price
of early success and fearlessness:

never learning
to be gracefully afraid.

About Catastrophe Jones

Wretched word-goblin with enough interests that they're not particularly awesome at any of them. Terrible self-esteem and yet prone to hilarious bouts of hubris. Full of the worst flavors of self-awareness. Owns far too many craft supplies. Will sing to you at the slightest provocation.
