A Sinner’s Prayer to a Fulsome God

Each time I am inside you,
it is a sinner’s prayer

to a fulsome God.

I reread the scars
I’ve given you,
a personal Bible,

tales of fallen angels
and the ascension of man.

You and I

are Genesis
and Revelations,

alpha
and omega,

the all
and the void,

and when we are one,
the heavens sing.

About Catastrophe Jones

Wretched word-goblin with enough interests that they're not particularly awesome at any of them. Terrible self-esteem and yet prone to hilarious bouts of hubris. Full of the worst flavors of self-awareness. Owns far too many craft supplies. Will sing to you at the slightest provocation.
